handle reporting and management of all Worker’s Compensation claims as well as
property and liability claims; record and maintain Corporate Compliance and
OSHA logs; handle legal records requests; provide administrative support
for Risk Management Committee reports and safety meetings, including
preparation of exhibits, documents and minutes; and provide training on
Worker’s Comp and safety. The qualified candidate will have at least two years
Worker’s Compensation insurance and claims experience. Experience with Property

Qualifications:
Proficient in word and excel. Proven organizational skills and detail
oriented. Minimum of two years Worker’s
Compensation insurance/claim background.
Experience with Property & Casualty claims preferred. For purposes of effective communication with residents,
families and staff must be able to see, hear, speak, read and write
English. Maintain ability to stretch,
push, pull, kneel, reach, twist, lift unassisted at least 15 lbs and do
repetitive motions with the hands.
Job Duties |
1.
Human Resources administrative support for all
companies as defined by Vice President of Human Resources to include Worker’s
Compensation, Employment Practices Liability, and record production. |
2.
Prepare agenda, exhibits, documents and minutes
for quarterly CFC/CFGH/ECCI Risk Management Committee meetings and Safety
Committee meetings. Completes monthly
safety walk-throughs, reports findings and makes recommendations. |
3.
Workers’ Compensation claim reporting, medical
management, litigation control, management and final disposition for all
companies. Monthly maintenance and
report generation of WC costs and expenses.

4.
Assist VP of Quality Operations with the
coordination of Quality and Risk Management meetings and maintains
confidentiality and integrity of communication and documents. |
5.
Record Corporate Compliance complaints and
maintain Corporate Compliance log. Log
all occurrences/risk issues for Interim. |
6.
Report/process all insurance and internal claims
related to CFC/CFGH property and liability.

7.
Handle all legal records requests. |
8.
Complete insurance applications, maintain data
base of coverages, provide renewal requests for documents and maintain/update
certificates of insurance for CFC and CFGH. |
9.
Instruct, train, and certify employee’s attending
Risk Management orientation for CFC and CFGH. |
10.
For all companies, ensure residents’ rights and
promotes optimal quality of life standards.
Reports any incident of abuse in accordance with facility procedure
and the Disabled Persons Abuse Negligence Act. Adheres to policies related to
boundaries with individuals. Attends required abuse risk management training.
Reports suspicious and inappropriate behaviors. Adheres to job specific abuse risk
management responsibilities. Ensures individuals
are properly signed in and signed
out. Ensures only authorized adults are allowed in the facility. |
11.
Demonstrates understanding of, and complies with,
all policies related to safety.
Performs work safely and without injury to self or others. Identifies hazards or dangerous behaviors
in the environment and takes immediate action to avoid, mitigate or
eliminate, and report hazardous conditions or unsafe behaviors. Ensures the safety of self,
residents/consumers, co-workers, families, guardians and visitors at all
times. |
12.
Punctuality and regular attendance at the work site are
essential functions of the job.
Adheres to attendance policy.
Reports to work on times as scheduled.
Completes required training on time and regularly attends staff
meetings. |
13.
Project a professional appearance and a willing,
positive and courteous expression in performing tasks. Cooperates with fellow workers,
supervisors, residents, visitors, etc. in performing tasks. |
14.
Ensure compliance with all federal and state rules
and regulations. Complete other duties
as assigned. |
