A successful candidate will possess either supervisory food & beverage experience or at least 2 years’ experience in a high paced restaurant environment such as a fine dining, upscale restaurant or Country Club atmosphere. Job Summary – As a Lead Server, you will perform new hire training including operations and Point of Sale training. Lead daily pre-shift meetings reviewing menu preparation techniques and ingredients. Work alongside our leadership team and coworkers ensuring the highest levels of service and cleanliness. Project a professional appearance and attitude in assisting team members and fulfilling dining duties. Prepare dining rooms and tables, provide meal service to our residents and maintain the sanitation in all of our dining and kitchen areas. Set tables to event and service standards. Answer questions from residents on menu selections and offerings. Communicate with fellow team members and residents on special requests, alterations, allergies, dietary needs and meal requirements. Accurately record and settle meal selections on Point of Sale system. Check with residents and guests to ensure satisfaction of all meals and beverages. Ensure a clean and properly stocked dining room and kitchen to maintain sanitation and prevent food spoilage. Prepare meals and beverages using specific procedures. Accurately record meals served and monitor temperatures of food. Participate in menu planning. Ensure compliances with health sanitation. Present physical and accurate check to residents and guests processing payment. Completing closing shift duties including restocking, cleaning, preventative maintenance, turning off lights and appropriate machines, etc. Perform other reasonable duties and requests from supervisors.
Lead Servers will follow all company and safety policies and procedures. Report any incidents of accident, injury or unsafe working conditions to a manager immediately, and complete any safety training or certification needed. Maintain a clean and professional work uniform and appearance. Maintain company and resident safety, security and confidentiality. Communicate with others using clear and professional language at all times. Read and verify information from a variety of formats including print and digital displays. Listen and respond to all resident or co-workers concerns. Must be able to Sit, Stand and Walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance and objects weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance. Must be able to reach overhead and below knees, bend, twist and pull. Must be able to grasp, turn and move objects of varying size and weight using fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Must be able to move over uneven and slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and ramps.
